Indian Squash Professionals under the
auspices of Squash Racquets Association of Maharashtra
celebrated World Squash Day at various clubs in India to
name few of them in Mumbvai are Khar Gymkhana, Khar, The
Club-Andheri West, Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana-Juhu, Bombay
Gumkhana, Hotel Hyatt Regency-Andheri East, Garware
Club-Colaba, Jindal Squash Academy-Shahapur, Matunga
Gymkhana, Chembur Gymkhana, Hiranandani Club in Powai
and Thane, Army Services, Navy Services, Delhi Gymkhana,

Indian Squash Professionals took an effort to spread the game by
celebrating World Squash Day on 15th March 2008 as follows :
Fun Cricket in the court...Squash Style. This is
like playing normal cricket in the squash court…..having a squash
tournament with foam ball, best of 1 game & we'll use a squash racket
instead of the regular bat…….and bat facing the front wall with the door
being the stumps.
Playing Badminton....same as the normal
one...but...with squash racket...and it would be doubles...
Cutting the World Squash Day cake.
On the spot coaching camp. (squash rackets will be
provided)
Exciting games and gifts – all participants received
a gift for attending this celebration.
