Amitoj Inder Singh
Amitoj Inder Singh is India's highest qualified coach with a Squash
Australia Level 3 accreditation. He has an unmatched record of
producing 10 national champions- Harinder Sandhu, Vikram Malhotra,
Aditya Jagtap, Tushar Shahani, Veer Chotrani, Kaavya Bansal, Diya
Yadav, Ekambir Singh, Paarth Ambani and Shreyas Mehta (jointly with
Riaz Mohd). Several other national champions produced were not
training with A. I. Singh at the time of winning the title. Tushar
Shahani has stood 4th at British Junior Open 2018 Boys U17.
After coaching for 6 years in various schools simultaneously in
North India (YPS, Welhams Boys' School, Bishop Cotton School etc),
he coached at the Cricket Club of India, Bombay, from April 2003 to
September 2004, heading the CCI Squash Academy where 50 Juniors of
various age groups and levels upto International level trained. From
February 2009 to September 2015, was the Head Coach at Khar Gymkhana
Squash Academy, Mumbai. The academy focused on developing high
performance players. It had about 50 players and experts in various
fields handling respective areas like Fitness, Flexibility etc.
developed the players. The academy under Mr. Singh produced 8 India
No.1 ranked players, which included 2 national champions, one of
them finishing at 7th position at the British Junior Open.
Since March 2016 Mr. Singh and his team have started an academy at
the squash centric Otters Club, Bandra, Mumbai. He also runs weekend
coaching programs at National Sports Club of India, Mumbai. Both
these programs are open to members of these clubs only.
Mr. Singh heads a private academy at Chandigarh. This is open for
all squash players of all levels- everyone is welcome to train here
any time. Accommodation is also available here. Regular high quality
camps are conducted here.

his father Mr. Faiz Mohamed who was No. 2 in the Nationals and
Western India for many years. His father was a coach at U.S. Club,
Colaba, Otters Club and Sea Rock Hotel. His uncle Jamal Din was also
a No.1 professional who later shifted to London and cousin Iqbal Din
was ranked in the world.
He joined Otters Club in the year 1980 as aSquashProfessional.
He was a junior finalist in Calcutta Racket Club and Semi-Finalist
in the professionals category at the Nationals Western India and
Maharashtra State, Trained and practiced with players like Meherwan
Daruwalla who was India’s No.1, Akhil Behl, Aashish Kamat, Niraj
Shirgaokar and have taught many junior and senior players in Otters
Club till the year 1989.
In 1989, he joined Leela for few months asSquashprofessional,
and then left for Dubai the sponsor was Mr. Subash Wali. In Dubai
played many tournaments and gave coaching in various clubs and
Hotels. In 1990, he joined Juhu Centaur Hotel till the year 2005 as
Officersquashprofessional.
Mr. Riaz Mohamed was a coach at the National Sports Club of India
(Worli) from 2009-2018. During this period, he trained many
national and international players.
At present, Mr. Riaz Mohamed is Coaching as a Freelancer.
Born on 19th November 1975, in Mumbai Jogi as
he is fondly referred to, never ever though that one day
he would be a squash coach. For someone who never had
the advantage of a formal training at an early age jogi
has managed to establish himself as a diligent,
enthusiastic and successful coach since the last 15
years. He is a self-taught squash professional.
He started his coaching career with Riyaz Mohammad in
Andheri Sports Complex in 1998. He has also coached at
the NSCI. Currently he coaches at Forest Club
Hiranandani Powai and Kalpataru complex Jogeshwari.
He has been associated with ISP since the last 15
years. Under the aegis of ISP he has conducted more than
35 squash training camps in Mumbai and all over the
country in places such as Aurangabad and Jodhpur to name
a few. In Mumbai he has conducted coaching camps across
various clubs such as Chembur Gymkhana, Matoshree club
and NSCI to name a few. He was also invited by the IIT,
Mumbai to conduct a prep camp for their students
competing in a national level tournament. Jogi has also
organized and refereed more than 100 tournaments for
ISP.
Jogi has been an inspiration for young and
old alike to take up squash. He has students ranging
from the age of 4 right up to 50. His infectious
enthusiasm and patience makes him very popular with
children and youngsters. Jogi believes in not just
teaching his students to play the game but also ensures
that they gain a high level of fitness and stamina while
training with him.

Anuroop BS is a WSF level 1 Squash Coach and an Engineer. He was
born on 15th April 1990. He resides in Hyderabad. Being son of an
Army officer he had the privilege of playing Squash with some of the
finest athletes in the country.
He developed his Squash
skills under the guidance of his parent’s Major Balakrishnan TK Retd
and Mrs Sobha Balakrishnan, his coach and training partners include
sportsmen like Yadhu Krishnan, Special forces Capt Vikas Giri, Col
Jasdeep Singh, Col Nirupama Bhargava, Group Captain Pothdhar,
fitness coach Mr Sudharman.
He conducts Squash coaching in
Hyderabad, with an intention of promoting a culture of sporting
excellence. Coming from an Engineering background, Anuroop BS has a
technical blend in hiscoaching style. He started the year 2016 by
conducting first ever Squash workshop and Training program in
Kerala. As of now he is working hard to produce champions for his
mother land.
Apart from coaching Anuroop BS works with an MNC
and is a motivational speaker, recently invited by Tedx as a speaker
for one of their events in India. Anuroop BS and his manager Yadhu
Krishnan has been shortlisted to attend 2016 Olympics scheduled in
Brazil. Their intention is to study the best athletes and understand
how they train and to use the acquired skill set to uplift Squash
across the globe and teach kids the most fundamental and basic

Puneet Pareek
India's young " ShiningStar" squash coach - Puneet Pareek
Puneet started coaching at a very young age and is one of the
youngest coaches of India.
He was coached under well renowned
coach late Sunil Verma. He has been associated with Indian Squash
Professionals in organising several of our Tournaments and coaching
camps.
Puneet started his coaching career 2 years back
teaching the kids of Kalpataru Residency.
Presently he is
coaching 15 students in the age group of 12years to Executive level
Officers in the age group of 50. Puneet is presently pursuing his
2nd year Bachelor degree in Commerce from S.D.T Kalani.
He
has himself been a very talented and promising player and has
achieved good levels in State Level and National Level tournaments.
Following are his achievements : • Represented Mumbai University
for all India University 2014 and secured 1st place. • 2nd place
in Juniors and double open Squash championship 2014 • 2nd place
in all India JVPG –Coke Squash carnival 2014 • 7th place in
National Squash Championship 2014
His goal is to formulate
cutting-edge training programs, provide coaching and support, and
teach others' valuable sporting skills while also developing his own
knowledge of coaching and sport.
