TAME AFFAIR
What was slated to be a slugfest between the cousins
didn’t quite turn out that way as Vikas got past Sandeep in straight games.

8-11 defeat.
CLOSE CONTEST
The second semi-final between Vikram Malhotra and
Aditya Jagtap proved to be a closer affair.
The first game presented Jagtap with three
opportunities to get the better of his opponent at 7-10, but some gritty
shots from Malhotra helped him go one up 13-11. Jagtap though continued his
fluency in the second game and won it 11-6.
Again in the third Jagtap made Malhotra fight hard for
every point before going down 9-11. then it was Malhotra all the way in the
fourth game. He subsequently won the tie 13-11, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7.
